I have become the fancy art critic weirdo creep I was always meant to be.
For too many years I tried to dress to coincide with a particular scene or friend group.
I did the goth scene, the raver, the punk, the metal, the rockabilly look, and for a while let one partner buy me weird... idk hipster urban outfitter style stuff to look the way he preferred etc etc etc.
I spent a lot of time honestly concerned that if I was “too weird” that my partners or friends wouldn’t want to be around me. It wasn’t until I was older and so much more comfortable with myself that I knew I could do my hair however I wanted. I could wear or not wear makeup. I can dress as fucking bizarrely as I feel like and it doesn’t matter what a single person thinks. I’ve absolutely caught people taking photos and over heard rude comments. ESPECIALLY from other women. The thing is, that’s a reflection of them. I’m being my best me. I’m having fun. I’m learning about clothes and style and making myself so incredibly happy. BE AS WEIRD AS YOU WANT. Have fun. Be silly. Try new things. #wearingwellbeing #wwsg #werewolfstyleguide #whenifeelbeautiful
