I was inspired by @cd_ylan129 to photograph some of my music outside today. This is Wumpscut's 1999 album Eevil Young Flesh (Boeses Junges Fleisch) and my personal favorite from the German father of dark electro. After a series of rugged and experimental albums throughout the '90s, Eevil displayed a more concentrated and confident sound that would become the foundation for every release to follow. Like all Wumpscut recordings, this album is a slow burn that only reveals its true brilliance when allowed to play in full. No single song is a particular standout, but each complements the others perfectly. One of my all-time favorite recordings on the industrial spectrum.
