You guys! I baked a thing! ✨ A grain-free rhubarb-raspberry bar thing to be exact! I minorly adapted the original recipe from @bakeritablog, and it was actually pretty easy! (Coming from someone who doesn’t bake 🙋🏼‍♀️) I added reishi to mine because I’m the adaptogens queen ☺️, but you can totally leave that out! Here’s the recipe:
For the crust:
• 1 cup blanched almond flour
• 2 Tablespoons tapioca flour
• 2 Tablespoons coconut sugar
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 3 Tablespoons melted coconut oil
For the topping:
• 3/4 cup raw walnuts
• 1 Tablespoon tapioca flour
• 2 teaspoons reishi powder
• 1/2 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/4 cup coconut sugar
• 5 Tablespoons coconut oil, solid
• 1 large egg OR 1 flax egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
• 1 cup chopped rhubarb cut into 1" thick slices
• 1 cup fresh raspberries
• 1 teaspoon lemon zest
• 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1.) Mix all crust ingredients together until well combined. Then press crush into a parchment-lined square baking pan.
2.) In a processor, grind the walnuts, tapioca, reishi, cinnamon, sugar and salt together. Add the solid coconut oil and process until well combined. Lastly add the egg or flax egg and vanilla. Pour this walnut paste over the crust and spread evenly to the edges of the pan.
3.) Combine rhubarb, raspberries, lemon juice and zest in a bowl then pour on top of walnut paste.
4.) Bake in a preheated 350° oven for about 40-45 minutes. Wait until completely cooled to cut. Enjoy! ❤️ #WuHaus

CBD Oil is saving my life
Living with a chronic illness is so joke.
I know so many people struggling daily with pain, anxiety, attention disorders, etc.
Side effects from medication. Look how many people take daily prescription medications. It’s so normalized now. I’m not against prescription drugs, they’ve saved my life too many times.
But I’m sooo for getting to the root of the health issues, not just trying to fix the symptoms. Every prescription medication has side effects and the long term ramifications are rough. And then your body is addicted/dependent to them in some way.
Anywayyy 💚 let me tell you how much I dig CBD. I used to smoke all day every day and it made me so fucking depressed but my body felt good. No pain or inflammation. It made me so so numb to the world, I was not living.
Now I live a much more balanced and happy life.
The CBD oil has given me more energy, comfort, sense of calm, clear thinking and happiness. More than anything I’ve added into my life since my diagnosis in 2011. But it’s all the little changes that have gotten me to this point. 🌱

Lemon Poppyseed “donut holes”! Okay they’re really not donuts but they look like it. These no bake energy balls are sweet, full of nutritious ingredients and a healthy little treat 😋 🍋 🍩 recipe adapted from @alison__wu 🙌🏻. ******* In a processor 1.25 C oats+ 1.5 C cashews+ 2/3 C dates+ 1tsp vanilla bean+ 1/4 C melted coconut oil+ 1/4 C coconut butter+ 2 Tbl maple syrup+ 1/4tsp sea salt+ 1/2 C fresh lemon juice+ 2tsp lemon zest. Mix until smooth and doughy. Fold in 1/4 C poppy seed, roll in balls and put them in freezer to set. For the “icing” 👉🏻 Melt 4Tbl coconut butter with 1 Tbl coconut oil, 1tsp lemon zest and more poppy seeds. Dip frozen balls in! we’ve been mucho into our matcha lately 🍵 and have been loving mixing in @vitalproteins collagen creamer and matcha collagen powder 👌🏼 •••
we mix and match depending on our potion of the day 🧙🏼‍♀️ but always tend to use less than the recco serving size for the collagen creamer (2 scoops) and opt for just a 1/2 scoop. to get our daily dose of collagen we’ll supplement with unflavored collagen peptides or matcha collagen (instead of @ippodoteausa). 🌀blend with hot water (~170 degrees, not boiling to avoid bitter tasting matcha), coconut butter, cinnamon, a splash of almond milk & enjoy your frothing beauty 😌

Just sippin’ a Hibiscus Pistachio Iced Tea Latte with my boo ✨🌺🐱💫 I created this drink (recipe via link in my profile!) for my friends @olderbrotherus who make rad apparel using natural dyes and organic and sustainable threads. This season, Older Brother uses hibiscus as the main dye for their collection, which was the inspiration for the iced tea latte. 🌎 What I love most about @olderbrotherus is that they put the Earth first. They understand that we as humans and consumers have an obligation to take care of our planet and the people on it. So many of the synthetic materials and toxic dyes that are used in the fashion industry are not only terrible for us and our health, but are destroying our planet. Older Brother’s collection is gender neutral, and their designs are classic and timeless, so they will never go out of style. Their collection is thoughtful, considered and made with love. 💗 #WuHaus

Amazing Magnetic Spice Rack! Includes 6 pieces!

Finally nailed the creamy hummus I always dream about making! ✨☁️ The trick: Pressure cooking (or Instant Potting) the garbanzos! Thanks to @sasha.swerdloff for the tip. For this batch, I added about a cup of pistachios and pressure cooked those with the garbanzos for about 25 minutes in my @instantpotofficial. True confessions: I made this hummus on the fly, so I didn’t soak any dried beans last night. Instead I literally just pressure cooked 2 cans of garbanzos. Add the garbanzos, pistachios (if using) and enough water to cover by a couple inches then pressure cook on high for 25 minutes. If you’re using dried beans, soak in water overnight then use the same method but increase pressure cooking time to 40/45 minutes. The pressure cooking really breaks them down, so you can get that silky smooth hummus. I then processed the cooked garbanzos, pistachios and a teaspoon or so of salt for about 3 minutes in my @cuisinart food processor. Stopped the machine, then I added my @seedandmill tahini. Not all tahini is created equal! You want one that is super creamy and stirs very smoothly with a spoon. None of that chunky stuff! While the machine is running, add about a 1/4 cup lemon juice and then slowly add enough cold water to get the consistency you want. Bam! Creamy dreamy hummus! 💫💛 #WuHaus

No-Bake Lemon Poppy Seed Glazed Donut Holes! ✨🍋🍩✨ In partnership with @mountainroseherbs, this recipe is now up on the blog (link in bio)! And trust me, you definitely want to make this one. These delicious, refined sugar-free donuts are sweetened with dried unsulfured apricots and a small amount of coconut nectar. Earlier today, I handed one to my husband, he took a bite and said, “This is why I love you.” 😂🙌🏼 #WuHaus
