Current Shape
Every week I take a few progress pics to make sure my diet and workouts are working well and more importantly, to help keep me accountable! I have doing this weekly for the past 5 years and it's SO motivating to go through old progress pics and see my transformation!
Here are a few current stats for anyone interested:
๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝ Height: 5'4.5 (yes the .5 matters ๐Ÿคฃ)
๐Ÿ”ข Weight: 136 lbs
๐Ÿฝ Transitioned off the Keto diet (hit a plateau) and am now carb cycling. Follow me on Snap for my daily diet (Sumeet-Sahni)
๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ 5 days of weight training a week
๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ 3-4 short HIIT cardio sessions a week, mixed in with a few sessions of fasted cardio

About a month and a half ago, I did a deadlift and injured my elbow badly. I iced it for three days, to reduce swelling took some ibuprofen and continued training despite the swelling and pain. I didn't want to fall behind on training, and I kept pushing my body despite the warnings. Obviously, my pain and injury never went away, and I took myself to @orchardhealthclinic in Singapore to get it looked at when I was back. I didn't realize how much I had messed up my elbow, and it caused my shoulders and even my lower back a lot of imbalance. I got my back and elbow fixed and also some electric shock treatment on the injured elbow. It was my first osteopathy experience and now I'm hooked. I still have ways to learn with my ballet dancer mentality to work through pain and endure no matter what, but I'm getting a little better at resting when needed ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ™ˆ. Self care is necessary. I love my body and I'm so grateful for everything it's endured because of my choices. When fit meets fashion. A lot can happen when you step outside your comfort zone. I had the opportunity to walk the Summer '17 Fashion Show at LALIVE modeling for @donneepardieu this past weekend. It was a huge eye opener for me. I wasn't the skinniest or had the best walk but it's a reminder that we all start from the bottom and work our way up. (This goes with anything you set your mind on) It was such an honor to walk and model with women who who were so beautiful in their own way. Great things never come from comfort zones... don't be afraid to take an unfamiliar path. Sometimes they are the ones that take you to the best places.

A little bit of TRX High Intensity Interval Training this morning... if you've been a client of mine before you know this circuit very well. This is only the first half of it. Which you repeat x 2 which brings you to about 30min. A little pre-workout provided by @popeyesmarkham... I love being able to partner with a dope company whose products actually make a difference. Good morning ! Man oh man today was one of those days. After a late night of working I did not want to get up AT ALL. I'm so blessed that my partner was relentless in getting me up and going. He called me at 4:30AM, literally stayed on the phone as I got up, got ready , and into my car to meet squad at the gym. He said " Get up Doubletakefitness you have goals and dreams to accomplish" we all need people in our life that will keep us going and remind us of our reason why. I'm here guys ! Today is leg day.
