Asana (Posture): Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose)
Balancing poses have always been my favourites because my body and mind need them. My body type is Vata dominated which means many things including that I'm always energetic and have hard time staying at one pose, one thought, one way of life, one person, one world. It could be good in some cases but not in many others.
When I practice balancing asanas, my body and mind rest at one focus point. Stability increases, mind calms down and gradually I become more and more poised, still, and centered.
