🔹Ask someone who is actively trying to build muscle (especially a woman) and they will tell you how hard it actually is.
🔹You would have to put serious, planned, consistent, smart training in for months to YEARS to actually build a considerable amount of muscle. This would include lifting weights prioritizing compound exercises, getting stronger over time, varying rep ranges, training a muscle group 2-3 times per week and eating enough to support muscle growth.
🔹It’s not going to happen over night. You can always adjust training and nutrition if you feel you’ve gained too much muscle for your liking. Although, that’s probably not going to happen. 🔹Very few women have the genetic predisposition to build muscle. Most likely, it’s not you.

Here’s an overly simplified idea of what happens when you lift weights:
🔹Lifting weights, eating the same amount of calories=weight stays the same, lean muscle will likely increase, body fat will likely decrease. (Will appear more "toned")
🔹Lifting weights, eating more calories than you burn=muscle increase, body fat increase. (Aka BULKY)
🔹Lifting weights, eating fewer calories than you burn=preserving muscle, losing body fat. (Will appear more "toned")
