I was 2.5 pounds short on winning money for the health bet challenge, but I’m not complaining 😏. Before I would have taken this as a loss, quit and probably thrown in the towel claiming that ‘this’ doesn’t work! But not anymore because I know that working out and eating healthy WORKS. I believe that deep into my core and even though I didn’t achieve my goal I won’t quit. It still means just as much to me, and instead of coming down and giving up on myself I will reflect and find where I could have improved. I know the excitement and stress of a new job got to me. My sleeping fell, my sweet tooth picked up and even though I pushed in my workouts my nutrition wasn’t the best it could be.
Reflect, make a new game plan and GET after it. That’s how you stay committed, that’s how you keep pushing and that’s how you never lose.
