Grip holds with two plates- Doing four sets of timed grip holds to finish my forearm workout today! Shooting for enough weight to land between 10-15 second holds per set.

Form tip 👉 Grab two plates that you are able to pinch together for the timeframe you’re shooting for. Holding one plate with enough weight is hard enough in this position, but holding two plates together is extremely difficult. If you want to make it next level difficult, turn the plates in so you’re gripping the smooth side instead of the ridged side!

This for me is nothing less than a miracle. The best thing I did after recovering from my knees (yes. both.) injury is to strengthen the muscles around the joint. I won’t lie... it has taken me quite some time to get to the point where I’m able to incorporate plyometrics in my workout. From constant pain for a whole year to here! But while you need not try step ups on an 18” bench, you can start with a much smaller step, without making it plyo. Even an alternate lunge without weights will help you. I’ve made the mistake of going overboard many times but that has only hindered my practice. Listen to your body and you’ll make good progress. And progress is relative to yourself.

Ahhhh this time 3 years ago I was watching myself and 12 others battle it out in physical challenges non stop for 24 hours (2 episodes) on National TV with the Superstar @murphy_matty
The same time everyone else turns up in training gear and running shoes and I’m in my skirt and heels 😆
I sat in my car freaking out to my Coach @sharonwildthinganyos who simply asked me “Well who are you Andrea? Of course you can get changed like everyone else and steep down to their level, or you can be the confident, sexy, strong Woman you know you are and go in there and shine.”
It was a no brainer.
Hell to the yeah that was empowering!
I shined bright all 24 hours too. Took myself to another level.
Such an awesome experience! .

My trainer asked why I sweat a lot 😝💦😅

I slept really badly and woke up feeling tired and kinda sick. I thought about a rest day until I realised IT’S DAY 40!!! I’m halfway through these 80 days already!!!

There were points I thought I’d throw up but a sweat fest, some liquid gold and some dancing has made me feel a lot better.

Aim to complete 10-15 reps and each (adapt depending on your fitness ability), the only rest you get is when you are transitioning into the next exercise.. go for 3-5 rounds each💀🔥💪🏻💦

Mich motiviert sowas weiter zu machen. Meine Beine und mein Popo definieren sich schön langsam und meine Körpermitte geht auch in die richtige Richtung. Da ist noch ein laaanger Weg vor mir, aber ich denke er ist wichtig. Ziele sind so wichtig, sie geben Halt im Leben und steigern das eigene Lebensgefühl immens.
