Saturday morning therapy session ✔ •
This past week was super rough and I checked out from most things 😥 I felt emotionally all over the place and just couldn't cope. By Thursday I was stuck on the couch lost in depression with no desire to do anything I normally do.
I never know when depression will hit. The combination of stress, hormones and mom life added up to be too much this week and I shut down. Luckily I woke up feeling a bit better yesterday, forced myself to get dressed and out of the house. And it helped get me back toward a normal routine, which usually helps me a ton!
When you are in the thick of it, things can seem hopeless. But there are always positive ways to help yourself through to the other side. Self care, being forgiving with yourself and reaching out to those who know you best really go a long way for depression. Keep fighting and keep doing things to move past the feelings trying to take over.
