Happy Monday! I discussed a bit about the book The Power of Habit last week. But as I was reading about the habit loop: cue, routine, reward, I realized how well this works with a workout program. -
Did you know the best thing to eat post workout (weight lifting) is simple sugar? Well that’s your reward! If endorphins aren’t enough, that is. -
So create a cue, like getting up eating breakfast and working out, or bringing your workout bag to work with you and going after work. Then get to working out and reward yourself with some low fat sugar. I’ve been doing chocolate milk for months now 😊
