A year ago I was seeing a neurosurgeon and told I'd probably have to have neck surgery due to herniated discs.
Umm, hell no!! 🚫 That scared the crap outta me, so instead I made my PT appointments and didn't miss one! The excruciating pain was going away and I was feeling 'normal' again after about a month.
That was it, that was the reminder I needed not to take my body for granted anymore! Eating junk, not eating breakfast & skipping lunch, drinking too much beer, cleaning my plate because I was 'supposed to.' All of that stinkin' thinkin' had to go! 🙅🏽♀️ I FINALLY said "yes" to joining a community of people striving to live healthier lives and encouraging one another along the way. Ten months in I'm down 24 lbs, a number of inches and ⬆️ immeasurably in self love, confidence, joy and hope.
Stop putting it off. Stop allowing yourself to feel like crap. We deserve so much more! ❤
