Check Out @karinfitn50 Amazing story!!👉👉 Most people who know me now don't know what I've come through. They see me energitic,happy and healthy. But I remember when.... When I was overweight, tired all the time, had symptoms of IBS,knee pain and eventually a cancer scare.
In my before pic I was on what I call the standard American healthy diet. Low fat dairy products, lean meat like chicken and fish,egg whites only, whole wheat pasta and breads with a serving of vegetables or a salad on the side with fat free dressing.
I was even active at the time..biking at least 3 days a week around 10 miles somedays 20, and even used the Bowflex 3 days a week. I counted my calories and despite all my efforts my body was changing .....but not for the good.
I could've believed that it was because I was getting older. (almost 40 in the before pic) but I didn't buy it. I struggled to get the weight off and I did. I completed the Body for Life plan and lost 25 lbs in 3 months... but it came back again...and again along with shame and frustration..... Then the cancer scare...and I got educated in what was happening in our food supply...and I got mad... And I started eating more plants and accidentally found myself on a whole foods plant based diet starting in 2012....my body changed.. and for the good.
My energy skyrocketed, my weight easily came off and stayed off. My IBS cleared up, my knees stopped aching when going up the stairs and damn it I feel good...and I can't remember the last time I saw a Dr.
A whole foods plant based diet changed my life and I want to tell everyone about it.
