I finally did it! For some time I had been toying with the idea of taking some workout clothes to work and going for a jog in the afternoon, I work 10 hr days so the break from being in an office all day would be nice. And today I did it, I took workout clothes, towel and other necessities to take a quick shower (luckily our building restrooms have a shower). Originally was just going to take the route I walk around the business area but then I remembered there was a park nearby with some paths that I have never been to but drive by every morning. Gave it a try and I definitely enjoyed it. Felt good to take that time for myself during the work day. And then go home and not feel like I need to muster up the energy still to workout or feel guilty when I don’t. So I think I will try to incorporate this at least once or twice a week as my cardio. And then do strength training on my days off. I realized yesterday as I was pondering doing this today that I really wasn’t into the stair challenge at work anymore nor did I feel it gave me the workout I needed to supplement my home workouts at this point in my weightloss journey. Sometimes you have to re-evaluate and change things up. Be willing to try new things. Finally getting a chance to lay down and think about the past 72 hours ❤️❤️❤️ Omg it's been a freaking blast. I've had the honor to be apart of this Coaching Retreat to not only get spolied for my hard work work but to also learn and connect with other women in the business.

I think back to when I first thought of coaching, I tried talking myself out of it....thinking that I could Never Do It....I have 2 kids- how could I make this work? But the more and more I thought of it, the more and more I wanted it. And soon it became apparent that I was either going to jump in and take a leap or I would forever watch in the shadows thinking -what if?? Look, I started this with no experience, no training, NOTHING like that. But I've lead with my HEART because I believed I could make a difference in not just my life....but others too. So on Saturday i decided to take a risk and wore ankle weights to get a workout during work and i had no idea that we had 12 scheduled parties and i was getting 7 of them.
In the end i was taking 80% of the tables in my section while i had my partners take the bigger tables to see how well things would turn out. In the end all our customers left happy and there were nearly no mistakes made. The risk was without failure i got a small workout and all my customers were happy.

Day 5: Anything you can plank, I can plank better
Planks are one of the most popular core workouts that people do. They help body learn to stabilize by contracting the core muscles. The plank doesn't just use the core but recruits other muscle to help you stay up. This makes it one of the most efficient workouts. Simple yet effective.

It is important when doing planks that your shoulders and hip make a straight line. I like to think of it as a coffee table and someone should be able to put a drink on you without it spilling.
There are modifications for people who cannot do a regular plank. Beginners may need to put there knees on the ground so their core can gain more strength to lift their knees off the ground one day. If you are a veteran at planks, put something with weight on your back can make more difficult. Just keep that shoulder to hip line straight no matter what you do.
