So lately I’ve been feeling very tired, run down, lightheaded, tummy issues and generally just not feeling like myself. 😷 I put it down to being a mum of 2 full on little ones #mumlife 👨👩👧👧 I can’t really pinpoint when it started but it’s been going on for quite some time..
A couple of weeks ago I had awful chest pains (I thought I was having a heart attack!), I went to the doctor and had an ECG and lots of blood tests 💉 but all came back clear, luckily for me my doctor was very thorough and decided to do some further tests. I tested positive for H. pylori which is a pretty nasty tummy bug that attacks the lining of your stomach, 50-60% of people have this bug in their stomach but for most people it doesn’t cause any issues, but for a few like me it can cause all sorts of problems. I’m currently taking a strong course of 2 different antibiotics to kill the bug and feeling like death but I’m so relieved to finally having some answers as to why I’m feeling so crap and excited at the prospects of feeling well and more energised again!
So mums being tired and run down doesn’t have to be the norm it can be a sign of underlying issues, go get checked out by your doctor if you think it might be something other than just been a tired mum 😘
