Did you know that yoga is all about the mind/body connection?
Well, that was not my experience today. I don't even remember doing parts of it! 😨
I'm "having a day".👎 I get asked how I stay motivated.
My answer? Obviously I don't.
What I DO know is that if I'm in a funky mood, the LAST thing I need is to add more negativity to my brain by not working out & eating a cake🍰🍩 or something🍟🍔🍝🍬🍫🍕🍦!!! ➡So, how do I stay motivated?
I work at it. I don't expect perfection and keep reminding myself what my goals are. ✔I worked out, it wasn't my best. ✔I made my shake ✔I watched a motivational video 💡I have learned, through personal development books, videos, coaching groups...that you need to work on your brain. 💡 I have learned to not give in to those bad moods, or at least not right away. ➡ Forming new habits, understanding what your triggers are, and having an awareness of that mind/body connection increases your chances of success.
It's about consistency & commitment & keeping a promise... to yourself.💖
It's about hard work.
It's about being the best that YOU can be.
