Meat galore at Temper. Located in Soho, this restaurant features a huge wood fire pit smack right in the middle of the dining hall. Talk about open kitchen. To start off, we got a spicy scallop ceviche and black vinegar mushroom both served with housemade taco shell. For our meat feast, we ordered 500g of chuck beef, 350g of cowboy lamb and chilli pulled beef with bone marrow. The steaks were beautifully medium rare and accompanied with chimicurri and a chipotle sour cream. I love that they serve their meats on housemade flatbread which soaks up the goodness of the fats and juices. We got ourselves a side of grilled corn with black beans topped with a dallop of lamb fat bèarnaise that was perfumed with mint. The beef fat potatoes covered with velvety oglesheild was of course a must have on the menu. It was definitely a sinful meal but worth every drop of meat fats.
