It’s always good to have another set of eyes to see things from a different perspective. Today @harley.gains and I did a mock session (after I squatted on my own) that resulted in me performing exercises that I rarely (if ever) do on my own, and slightly tweaking some that I already do. And let me tell ya, my buns were 🔥🔥🔥 by the time we were done. Even more than usual. .

Here’s some of what we did today: ✔️Barbell squats (did these on my own- worked up to 190x5 but the vid is 175x5)
✔️Landmine squat press ✔️Banded hip abduction ✔️Banded donkey kick ✔️Weighted hip bridges .

Here’s a fun leg and abs HIIT workout to try out.🔥💪🏼⠀

HIIT = High Intensity Interval Training. A technique where you perform intense exercises, followed by a short active recovery period. ⠀

1️⃣ 12 squats to front kick - Targets your glutes, quads, and hamstrings. Keep your knees behind your toes. ⠀

2️⃣ 30 second plank - Targets your entire abdominal area. YOUR BODY SHOULD FORM A STRAIGHT LINE. ⠀

3️⃣ 12 Bench squat jumps - Not only targets your glutes, calves, hamstrings, and quads, but it’s a great calorie-burning exercise. JUMP AT A COMFORTABLE PACE. ⠀

4️⃣ 12 side plank rotations - Targets your abs, but especially your obliques. ⠀

Repeat 4X. Take a 30 second break in between exercises and a 1- minute break after the entire set. ⠀

This may mean absolutely nothing.

I can see why some may think so, cause it’s all I show on my page.
But everything in the sense that lifting reminds me, everyday, that the impossible is, in fact, actually very possible.
That belief in myself, even just a tiny bit, is all it takes to open up a whole new world of possibilities.
But you have to take the first step, and try.
Then you have to work for it.
Nurture it.
Give it everything you’ve got.
Very rarely does anything in this world ever come free.
And that’s fine with me, because nothing that was ever given to me freely ever meant everything to me.
