Beautiful non la (conical hat) art instillation in the Women's museum in Hanoi. 🇻🇳 On a related note, Happy Mother's Day! It's great to learn more about prominent women in Vietnam history and women in society today. It makes me better appreciate how these (like mi madre) have worked hard for their babies. Hope all will be able to spend time or honor those they consider their moms today.
We had an extremely interesting and intriguing walk around the Women’s Museum when we were in Hanoi. It really shows the many roles women have played and still play in Vietnam. They are Mother’s, Grandmothers, teachers, workers, soldiers and the heartbeat of every family. It was fascinating to see the varying marriage ceremonies and how pregnancy and child birth is dealt with. It was also good to see examples of Women heroines during the numerous wars that Vietnam has suffered through. Whether it was to work the land or be on the frontline fighting the enemy soldiers. Well worth a visit! #Vietnam#Hanoi#women#womensmuseum#girlpower#art#propaganda#traditionaldress#travelling#travelblog#seetheworld#151degreeseast#colour#culture
