Heading out to do my part in supporting Women's Rights at the Women's March in Washington, DC. To often we are stuck in our day to day lives and we neglect our responsibility to do what is right and fight for what is just. Our lives are not just our own. Our purpose and responsibility on this earth is connected to those around us as well. If u don't have a daughter, wife or girlfriend, U most assuredly have a Mother. Fight for what is right or be responsible for what is wrong... #Believe#Womenfirst#womensmarchonwashington
My biggest dream is that the world sees us as persons with a different form of communication, a different language, not a disability, so that someone who is deaf or hard-of-hearing can grow up to pursue whatever [career] they want to. - @casarjacobson Read more at : goo.gl/kQczRW
Rainy day turban. I think we can all agree that putting on a wig is hard. Re: comfort, self-expression, overall happiness with the wigs we actually do have. Of course there are several plus sides like everyday-is-a-glamorous-hair-day and shampooing once a week, if we choose. Is there enough support, education, inspiration to help us feel good about this way of life, social expectation and the spiritual benefits of covering your hair? Would love to hear your opinions, complaints, ideas. Would it be helpful to provide some refresh about the whys? Or better to close your eyes and jump? . . . . .
