So as things are slowly going back to "normal" around here (I'm probably being a little too optimistic), I need to start focusing on getting back into my regular fitness program. But I'm going to need new training shoes, though.
I've been using @inov8training shoes exclusively for the past 2 years or so. First it was the F-Lite 195s which I absolutely loved and then the F-Lite 235s which I love even more. These are the best training shoes I've ever used. Light, comfortable, and the stability is just amazing.
So naturally I've been looking at getting their new F-Lite 235 V2s. There's one problem with that however. As much as I love the @inov_8 shoes I've owned so far, they all suffered from the exact same issue, one that irks me beyond belief.
The mesh in both the F-Lite 195 and F-Lite 235 proved to be extremely fragile. -Kinda like some #WLAN vendors' "mesh" implementations, but I digress.-. I began to see signs of heavy wear (in almost the same spot) within the first 3 to 4 months of moderate use. Again, both pairs.
Not long after that, it developed into a full blown nasty tear. Hence why I had to replace the F-Lite 195s with the F-Lite 235s in the first place and way sooner than I expected. And no, I'm not a hardcore CrossFitter training 6 days a week (I wish I was). I mean, these shoes are intended for CrossFit (or Functional Fitness, whatever) and they couldn't handle it. So as much as I love Inov-8 F-Lite shoes and would like to get a pair of their new 235 V2s, I can't help but feel hesitant about it.
I'm really hoping for someone who's already going hard at it in a pair of F-Lite 235 V2s to tell me that I have nothing to worry about. In the meantime, I'll also take a look at @nobullproject's Trainers as these look like could be worth a shot.
