This is probably 1 of the 2 major errors I see, even at the elite level!
Focus on squeezing your butt, and pulling your hands to your hips, bending your arms slightly.
Watch how this drill transfers into the full Ring Muscle up! Its the same positioning, keeping your heels lower than your hips and lower than your shoulders so that you are set up for a fast turn-over.
Start with your feet on the floor, and then progress to a small box. Start with a small micro band and then increase tension accordingly.
