Book 28 of 2017: Witch Child by Celia Rees.
I originally read this book in school about 7 - 8 years ago and I remember being enthralled by it. I recently picked up another copy and I am still enthralled by it.
I love so many aspects of this book. I love how each setting is described, how every person is talked about and how they interacted with everyone.
I also loved how, through the first person POV and diary entries, it felt like I was living this myself which I always look for in books.
There were some parts of this book where I felt like nothing happened, but apart from that I loved it!
I also didn't realise there was a sequel, so that will be my next read.
My overall rating: 8/10 📚
QOTD: Do you prefer books told in diary style or just normal chapters?
AOTD: Usually I don't like diary entry books, but this one kept my interest a lot more than others have.
