I usually try to do a post about #Winningwednesday. But today, I'm going to talk more about resilience. ➡➡➡.
While I'm thrilled with how my business is going, I've been disappointed that a virus 😷 has kept me from exercising for 3 weeks. (Or, at least as intensely as I'd like.) I acknowledge that my body image is a bit (maybe a bunch🤔) skewed. Since I've had to rest, I feel like gaining weight and looking "fat." I'm aware that this isn't the case; it's a FEELING, not a FACT, but it's still been hard.
Yesterday, a friend posted this picture. It helped me refocus on my progress.
I'm not a failure: I've lost about 30lbs since January. 👍💪✅ I feel healthier than I have been in years. 😀 I'm the happiest thay I can remember.😄 This break is what I need; rest time to help me recover fully. I'm no longer ignoring my self care. This is just a setback; the real failure would be to stop.
This quote describes how I've been handling 2017 with its ups and downs. Bumps in the road are just that: small things that can make you stumble. But, when you keep going and challenging yourself, that is when real progress is made. ❤❤❤
