AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA it seems that Amarone was born by mistake. In fact, in the 30s, at the Valpolicella Social Cellar, the director found a forgotten barrel of Recioto, a sweet and velvety wine. The longer period of fermentation had changed the taste of wine, exalting the bitter notes and making it dry. This is how Amarone della Valpolicella was born!
