First LONG long run is done! This is definitely the most interesting way to get to 18 I've ever done! Here was the plan:
Get to the race early, park, and run 12 before picking up my bib (side note-I almost chickened out last night thinking it would be scary running a totally unknown route alone, but the area was so beautiful and felt totally safe! I also wore my #wearsafe which makes me feel better, and new places to run always feel like exploring on a new adventure to me!!) .
Back to the run- after getting my bib I did a mile to grab more water and fuel at the car, then ran the race, watched @sarabellinggraves finish SO STRONG and do so awesome for her first 5k this year!! Then I did an easy 2 miles to finish. .
Although a different way to get to 18, finishing a long run with food and beer waiting for you AT A BREWERY is definitely a huge plus!!🤗👍🏻🍻🍔#willrunforbeer #beerme
