SLEEP. Something I haven’t been getting enough of lately which is entirely my own doing but I can definitely feel it affecting me so I made the choice to not set an alarm today and just let my body do its thaaaang and wake up when it was time. Let’s just say that was the best decision I’ve made ALL week aside from putting @sirkensingtons spicy brown mustard on my wild caught salmon!!!

Since I gave you pigment fun facts on Red Cabbage earlier this week. I thought I’d continue the trend. Salmons pink color comes from plankton filled with Astaxanthin! A powerful antioxidant which is best consumed from wild caught fish. Farmed salmon actually eat pellets with synthetic Astaxanthin which are derived from petrochemicals....which is why wild caught is the way to go to gain the most nutritional benefits

The dEATS:
I cooked up the salmon in a pan with @chosenfoods avocado oil, @simplyorganicfoods S&P, & some pressed garlic, slathered it in @sirkensingtons spicy brown mustard once it was cooked through. Reheated my steamed broccoli and made a quick salad with @organicgirl greens & avocado sprinkled with @primalkitchenfoods green goddess dressing. SO easy!
