When we moved here, there was a blueberry bush in the back yard. We were pumped! But, it butts right up against the woods. And lemme tell you - woodland creatures like blueberries.

I don't eat many grains, but when I do, I always prefer whole grain. So glad I found this whole grain basmati rice. It is perfect with our Shrimp Tikka Masala we are having this evening. There is a reason why you crave carbohydrates when youโ€™re mentally exhausted. However, itโ€™s the type of carbs you reach for that make all the difference to your brain function. For instance, whole grains, which are high in complex, slow burning fiber will keep your blood sugar balanced so you can study much longer and not suffer brain energy drain. So the next time you host a study session, swap out processed chips, crackers, and white breads for whole grain chips, crackers, and pop corn enriched with whole grains.

Home Made Bread Recipe
I personally don't eat bread and rarely eat grains but I do enjoy making bread for my husband (friends and family too) who enjoy it. On top of tasting better, the smell fills the house is amazing, you know the ingredients going into it, and you save a lot of money!
Ingredients :
1 cup all-purpose multi grain white flour + 1/2 cup extra set aside
1/2 cup quinoa flour
1/2 cup whole grain flour
2/3 cup 2% milk
2/3 cup boiled water
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp honey or sugar
1 tbsp quick-rise yeast
2 tbsp olive oil

In a large bowl mic flours, salt, sugar, and yeast. Pour in milk then boiled water and Oliver oil. Stir until dough is well combined and sticky.
Cover with damp cloth and let rise for 30 minutes.
Punch down risen dough and mix in the extra 1/2 cup of flour. Seperate dough into 3 equal parts and roll out with your hands into approx 18" long pieces. Braid the 3 pieces and set on top of a baking sheet. Let it rise for 30 min.
Preheat oven to 350. Bake bread for 45 min until golden brown
