- 1 Packet Original @amazonpower Acai
- 1 Banana - 1 Handful Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
- 2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds
- Splash of Coconut Water
Blend it all up and top with Goji Berries, Buckinis and Cacao Nibs 👌

When I as younger I did calisthenics for nearly 10 years! I was very flexible, lacked core strength and struggled with back/hip injuries for a long time.
Since finishing all things calisthenics, dance and cheerleading around 5 years ago I have completely neglected any kind of stretching and I am probably the least flexible I have ever been!
I want to put a bigger emphasis on my recovery, incorporating stretching and mobility back into my routine. 🧘‍♀️

Sneaky mid week night away at @eungellamountainedgeescape because a little down time is good for the soul. While I've been harping on about the importance of exercise lately, let me remind you of the importance of rest too. If you want strong muscles, you need healthy tendons. Tendinopathy is injury of the tendon. The tendon is what connects muscle to bone. Injury comes about due to overload and/or compression. When you exercise or have a physically demanding day at work or home, it stresses the muscles and tendons causing micro trauma.. this can encourage adaptation. Muscles adapt quite well to these stresses unlike the adjoining tendons. This is perhaps because muscles have greater blood supply. Because the tendon is slower to heal, it is vulnerable to overtraining. If the tendon is repeatedly placed under load without adequate time to heal and adapt, the microtrauma becomes accumulative, eventually resulting in degenerative changes. Tendinopathies occur to people of all fitness levels. The worst two things you can do to an unhappy tendon is to completely rest it or push through the pain so see your Physio to get the right advice🍃🍷-Steph #GetLivelyMackay
