β€’ 80% is not "deload". Shut up. Skipped one warm up set and it showed in my first work set as I missed my final rep. I know better. Added a work set to make sure I hit all my reps. Every set got stronger as I pulled it together.

β€’ Second: facepulls 3x8 and db lat raise 3x8.
β€’ Finisher: iso db incline press x 5ea to combo press x 5 from 20# to 40#, then dropset adding one rep each weight until 15# for iso x 10ea + combo x 50!

β€’ Main: comp/wide grip bench (instead of close grip) 120# 4x3 + 1x5.5. My work sets went really well, first video is last set, but my top amrap (2nd vid) was like... dumb, could have been stronger... bc I didn't lock in my set up correctly.
β€’ Bc I didn't do close grip bench, I did a pyramid set of neutral grip db flat bench - 20# x 15, 25# x 12, 30# x 10, 35# x 8, 40# x 6, 45# x 4, 50# x 3 - 3rd vid. The set up with my spotter was SO weird. Yes, he had his hands on me but I didn't feel him pushing. My lats are super sore today 😍.

β€’ Hustlin today! Errands, gym, mom stuff, work. Got a sec for a quick breather before work, thank goodness. Gym was busy for a Saturday and everyone was benching 😧. Had to bench in the power rack, but turned out it was perfect for my close grip.
β€’ Main: Close grip bench 105# 2x5, 1x6 bc didn't wanna get a spotter for AMRAP. This was after I accidentally did my whole warm up and first work set with comp grip (wide) at a higher weight 😐.
β€’ Secondary: 30 close grip chin-ups in as few sets as possible... 6 πŸ˜“, and on the assist machine. Superset with minimal rest of rope pull down 12RM / preacher curl 12RM + 4x8.
