I’ll just be hangin here for awhile if anyone needs me. .
In my prior post I pulled one of the most rookie moves in yoga & over extended my back by not doing any warm up flows or counter poses & jumping right into an advanced forearm wheel as soon as I got up. .
You’d think after 9 months of practicing I’d know better- in fact I did know the harmful repercussions of not warming up, but we all think it won’t happen to us, until it does- but I had to learn my lesson sooner or later & although I feel like I have the back of a 65-year-old man who worked construction his whole life, my back is slowly starting to hurt less & honestly -I’m glad it happened now & not 10x worse later down the line. .
Backbends are one of the strongest parts of my practice, but it looks like I’m going to be laying low from them for a bit just to make sure I don’t over do it. .
