I've finally found the time to post my meal I've had @wagamama_uk noodle lab. It's been a hectic few weeks prepping our Chinese New Year event @phungkayvegan.
I had the aubergine hirata buns and also tried the cookmama. The buns were nice and what I liked about it was the size (good starter size) and the fried aubergine wasn't too oily, which is often the case. Good flavours overall. I really enjoyed the cookmama noodles, it was cooked very well and I could taste the wok hei! Good amount of spice (flavourwise) although I could have had it spicier but that's me. The bacon cocunut bit was a good touch and the sauce really coated the udon. The tofu got soggy very quickly and I wonder if the crispyness can be prolonged by using a different coating? Overall a good meal and recommend going to try as they have a big selection of vegan options. One other thing, I would have preferred is they should serve the noodles in a ceramic bowl rather than a biodegradable one.
