It is really important to take a pregnancy multivitamin whilst pregnant. If you are trying, it is also recommended to start taking one at that time, to build up the folic acid in your system. I chose Elevit, I did a bit of research around this and found that is was the most recommended and covered pretty much everything you need. Once pregnant, make sure you pick yourself up a pack and start taking them daily. Don't stress if you forget or can't take them from time to time, just take them when you can. I recommend putting them on your bedside table with some water, so you see them when you are getting into bed and can take them then. I find it best to take on a full stomach, so bed time after dinner is perfect. When my morning sickness was at its height, I couldn't keep any food or water down, so even when I did try to take them they very quickly came back up. So truth be told, between my week 6-14, I didn't take them much at all, I just couldn't, or they came back up. But that's ok, don't stress about this. Do what you can. It will be fine. Just take care of yourself .
