Hey guys! So I'm excited to shoot this weekend's makeup look because I'm gonna be outdoors! :) Since I'll be going to some local spots with my family, I thought, why not do a "Turista Makeup" look? :) Do stay tuned for that! :) So, for today, I want to share my thoughts on the Word of God. :) Did you know that I suffer from anxiety ever since I was little? I was malnourished as a kid because I would always throw up because I was always anxious about so many things. Yes! As if I were an adult, I would get so worked up about school bullies and my dad disciplining me whenever I would not get good grades.
Fast forward to the past week, and there I was worrying about providing for my family while saving money for myself and future, and meeting my relatives who have been the most critical people in my life. I described my feelings as: "My brain and my heart are being pressured so much, they just might bleed out and explode." In mid-sob, this verse suddenly entered my mind. "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast." In the dictionary, the word Steadfast means "very devoted and loyal to a person, cause or belief". At that moment, I felt God's voice telling me to stay close to Him. To not rely on my strength of heart, but to rely on His grace and peace. He told me to endure my cross and follow His lead, for He will take me to a future life where His blessings and favour and peace bears bountiful fruit. :) At that moment, I felt Hope reach my heart.
Friend, have hope. :) Keep enduring your pain, keep aiming to honour God's name. We are His children, and He cares about us. He knows and feels our pain. These things are certain! So ask for His peace, His strength, and His joy, as you go through the inevitable storms in life. :) I know it's easier written than done, but let's keep meditating on God's Word so we will never lose sight of Him. :) In the end, those who endured will receive the crown of life, a bright future that the Lord promises to bring if we put our full trust in His deliverance. :) Imagine a life that is filled with everything you can ever dream of. Multiply that by a zillion and that is what God is promising. :)
