We've been conditioned to call totally normal scenes in our home like this "a mess". But it's funny, when my dad has pulled out all his tools and is digging a ditch or welding a pipeline, I don't call that "a mess". I call it "work". The same when my husband is surrounded by study Bibles and theology books and papers. Tidyness might come later when tools or books are put away, but when the work is happening, well, it LOOKS like it. In episode 28 of the What Have You podcast ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜, Rachel and Bekah discuss the tricky relationship between tidyness and productivity, and it is just so thought-provoking. For much of my stint as a homemaker, I have fallen far too heavily on the tidyness side of things, while the thought of productivity of any sort filled me with dread. Because it would result in "a mess". Unless my home looked like the sterile and perfect page of a home magazine, I was quietly discontent, and my heart couldn't REALLY rest until it looked like we didn't live, work, OR play here. That's changing, though. I don't want to spend my whole life *just* tidying! What a bore! I want to make and build and create, and I want my kids to have the freedom to follow suit. By God's grace, I'm feeling less and less burdened by the "mess" every time I walk into my kitchen; rather I realize that work happened here. And work is so, so good, and it normally results in good things. For instance, banana bread...

โ€œDonโ€™t miss this open-air show. Itโ€™s new. Itโ€™s different. A barbara lee playsuit with wraparound skirt featuring a round-up of lions, elephants, alligators and what have youโ€”in a wonderful Jungle print on sanforized cotton by Lincoln Fabrics. For store nearest you, write Dorothy Korby, designer for The House of Color, 1410 Broadway, New York, N.Y.โ€ Ad as seen in Vogue, May 15, 1946. I couldnโ€™t find out anything about โ€œThe House of Color,โ€ but I know this address housed a lot of talented designers and successful fabric houses and manufacturers, including Tina Leser. It might have just been Korbyโ€™s business name, because I can only find it associated with her label ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ // #whathaveyou #dorothykorby #1940s #1940sfashion

Ungkapan "WHAT HAVE YOU" dalam Bahasa Indonesia artinya kurang lebih: SEMACAMNYA/SEJENISNYA.

Contoh penggunaannya:

My grandpa sells cars, motorcycles, bikes, and WHAT HAVE YOU.

Kakek saya jualan mobil, motor, sepeda, dan SEMACAMNYA.

Can you make sentence using this phrase? Let me know.

Semoga bermanfaat. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I like some features of the initial pen sketch more but I needed a bigger layout and to solidify some concepts for "inking" after I wake up today.

Stay toon'd, mayngoz!

SF. #thecity #whathaveyou Lovely seeing you - albeit briefly from a car window.

ALWAYS EVOLVE wasn't some slogan I just mashed together willy nilly! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
Always Evolve has been the one deeper truths that I adhere to and live by every day of my life...
๐Ÿ˜โœŠ
It's gotten me through a lot of heartache and sorrow...
We all experience the anguish, sadness of sometimes losing the ones we love... The sadness of sometimes losing ourselves... To the negative thoughts that always want to try and consume and confuse our mind... Always remembering there is no such thing as a mistake...
That everything in your life is a constant learning experience...
To always remember no matter how much we tend to forget to stop beating ourselves up inside, that we are all deeply pure love... Under all of the guilt, hate, anger we carry... at ourselves,
at each other,
at societies ills,
at the injustiรงa in this world... That we all must remember to carry the that torch of hope...
That burning desire..
to always keep push forward,
into the future,
for a better future... And to remember to always challenge yourself...
your inner self,
your outerself,
and to... Always Evovle...

Finished yesterday's squat session with this 440 pound for 8 reps deadlift. Hook grip, no belt, all paused. Felt decent. Best I've pulled in quite some time and my hip feels ok this morning. #deadlifts #powerlifting #hookgrip #nobelt #poundplateparty #NLPuke #moneygrabsport #whathaveyou doneformelately
