Awkward drunk giraffe ahead. Not really, that's just what I think of when I see myself run.
One of my favorite college bball speed training drills was jumping on a moving treadmill, running as fast as you can for 20 or 30 seconds and then jumping off.
Speed increased with each set but what most people failed to realize was that they got stronger with each set. Their timing got better. Their ability to get in rhythm with the machine became easier. Your balance, leg strength and coordination all improved really quickly because if it didn't you shot off the back of that thing like a cannon.
That's kinda what motherhood and life feels like at times. So much happening, all at once for what feels like long periods of time with no rest.
But you're also getting stronger and wiser.
More aware of what you do and don't want, or need.
More able to take a stand for those things that matter and prioritize them unapologetically, without guilt.
Give yourself that reminder today if you need it. :) #day8 is treadmill sprints, front squats, Deadlifts, and dying bugs.
