Kiwi and steamed apples.

Dinner- khichdi : Rice, yellow lentils and spinach cooked together, topped with lots of ghee (clarified butter.)
Roasted broccoli with garlic, lemon zest and parmesan.
Mommy deliberately didn’t put any berries in the plate today because she knew i would fill myself with them. She wanted me to have lots of khichdi but i ate only a few spoons. She gave me lots of blueberries later.
P.S.- I didn’t like the broccoli at all, and daddy who normally hates broccoli loved this new recipe and ate all of it! 🤷‍♀️

Breakfast- Half seeded bloomer bread with @lovemyphilly cream cheese.
Steamed apples and cinnamon.
Cheerios
No points for guessing, the cream cheese got licked off the bread first.

Dinner- Paneer and daal parantha (wholewheat flatbread stuffed with paneer and some leftover lentils)
Mango and saffron Rice pudding.

Mommy got a new plate for me from @bamboo_bamboo.uk and i love it! But i only ate the kiwi off it and had loadssss of watermelon 🍉 after. Some days i just like to have fruits in dinner. ✌🏼

Lunch- Ragi (millet flour), oats and potato pancake.

Basil pesto (store bought)
Ragi or finger millet is one of the best non-dairy sources of calcium. It doesn’t look too pretty but is full of good nutrients. Tastes great with boiled potatoes, we ate all of it, yay!!

Dinner- Chapati (wholewheat flat bread)
Green whole lentils.
Boiled potatoes cooked in ghee and a spoonful of yoghurt and turmeric.
Cucumber.

Breakfast- Apple carrot oatmeal.
Apple oat peanut butter bites.
Raisins.
Today I was rather grumpy at breakfast time so i hardly ate any of this. Had half a banana later and mommy was like 🤷‍♀️ whatever!

Dinner- Idly : Steamed rice cakes, sautéed in ghee, mustard seeds and turmeric.
Pasta in tomato and cream cheese sauce.
Raspberries and blueberries.
Swipe left for after picture.

Dinner- Doesn’t look that pretty but its one of the most delicious pasta salads ever!
Avocado-pesto pasta salad, with cherry tomatoes, roasted mushrooms, pine nuts, feta cheese and olives on top.
What’s not to love!

Breakfast- chickpea flour quesadilla with cream cheese and blanched spinach filling.

Mommy said the quesadillas are yumm and i must finish them all, but i had my eyes on the guacamole she was having on her toast. I had only a third of this, except for the blueberries which are my favourite and I always eat em all. I ate all of mommy’s guacamole though, it was sooo yummy ✌🏼

Hi Everyone, that was my lunch today, i pretty much ate only half of it. As always i went for the berries first, followed by my favourite yogurt and then the parantha. Mommy doesn’t offer me a spoon in the beginning because she thinks i will make a mess and not eat. But now that i have learnt to say poon (spoon,) i keep saying Poon Poon poon repeatedly and she has no choice but give me one 😉. I am getting smarter everyday!!

Breakfast- Avocado with some spinach on toast.
Scrambled tofu (with spinach and some cream cheese)
Cantaloupe.
I try to add spinach to all kinds of food, even if it’s as little as a couple of leaves. Doesn’t do much to the taste but definitely boosts the nutritional value.
Here i have added spinach to the mashed avocado instead of coriander and look how beautiful the color looks.
Also added it to the scrambled tofu along with some cream cheese and trust me they tasted divine!! LO loved it and ate all of it.

Breakfast- I don’t have a name for these little round bites, but they are quite close to Frittatas, only i used some oats and chickpea flour instead of eggs. They are super soft and taste divine, not to forget, super healthy too as they have loads of veggies. This one has boiled potatoes, shredded courgette, onion and coriander.

Halwa - one of the most popular desserts/comfort foods in indian households. The original recipe uses semolina and sugar in equal quantities but I have made a No SUGAR version of it for the baby using banana and @clarks_it dates syrup and trust me it tastes better than the original recipe. Topped with some toasted flaked almonds and my @hollandandbarrett omega seeds for extra goodness. Yummy! She ate all of it 😋

Lunch to go!
So sometimes we like to have our lunch in the park, especially when the lunch time coincides with any of her play sessions at the children's centre. I mostly pack a stuffed parantha (wholewheat flatbread stuffed with veggies) or a cheela (vegetable pancake) because its just so much convenient to eat when you are out and about.
Some shredded carrot and edamame beans salad and cheese as accompaniments.
