A few years ago I bought these 8 lb weights to start a new fitness regimen. That was a newbie move if I ever saw one...I ripped my biceps to shreds and couldn’t hardly use my arms for a week.🙄😬 #learningcurves .
Tonight I didn’t even use my 8 lb weights for the 150 reps of various bicep curls I did. I used 10’s. I would’ve used 12’s for a few rounds if I’d had any! Talk about progress! 😲💪🏼#notperfection .
And as great as the physical progress is, it pales in comparison to how great it feels knowing that I’ve been consistently working out now for over a year. The most consistent I’ve ever been in the past was a 5 month streak in 2014.😳 #whaaaat .
But I never would’ve had the opportunity to see so much progress if I hadn’t kept going. And for the first time in my life, I have found something that truly helps me keep going.🙌🏼 #hallelujahmoment .
