Smoothie with a view kinda Saturday 🙌🏼 We brought a small travel blender to the hotel with us to make our @equilibrium_nutrition daily nutritional shake every morning and it is working out perfectly! Not only does it save money on overpriced resort breakfasts but it ensures we get all the vitamins, nutrients and vegan protein we need so we can eat the local cuisine throughout the rest of the day!

Whenever I’m in Ogden, I love to stop in at @cuppaogden for a delicious plant based meal.
They always have wonderful salads, sandwiches, and burgers, and everything is organic and vegan which makes me happy.
Here I had the Sloppy Jack Sandwich which is BBQ Jackfruit with sautéed onion and green pepper served on a pretzel bun with jicama slaw and a side salad with citrus dressing.
OMGosh was this just so wonderful! The bun was so soft, the jackfruit was flavorful and delightful and the jicama slaw was to die for.
Top it all off with an Apricot soft serve cone and you have a meal anyone would love. The fact it was all compassionately vegan makes it ever better.

🌱Summer rolls☀️

I looove summer rolls. They make such a good dinner 🙌🏻 I always try to add some kind of fruit to mine (weeell, it ends up being a mango pretty much every time).

The sauce is really simple and goes perfectly with the rolls. Simply blend together some peanuts, soy sauce and water. 😋

Good morning French toast! Batter made with almond milk (homemade), vanilla bean, cinnamon, allspice, and a banana. Topped with blueberries and tiny bit of pure maple syrup.

We are making A LOT of Veggie Mac this morning! We make is all from #scratch in small batches from quality ingredients including raw cashews, organic whole grain pasta, and organic veggies! And it’s #wholefoodplantbased with #noaddedoil ! Most importantly, it’s delicious and has been one of our most popular offerings since day 1!

After a 10 mile run with a friend who pushes you to maintain a 7:40 pace AND hold a conversation, you replenish with the worlds most delicious smoothie to repair the damage (a good damage) done to the body due to the stress of physical exertion. 🏃🏼‍♀️ .

Our body needs stress, it all about balance, though. It’s all about balancing that stress with nourishment. In turn, your body gets stronger and better able to handle stress. 🏃🏼‍♀️ .

So do all the things: workout hard, work hard for that deadline, be your family’s rock. It’s ok, do those things. Just be sure to ALSO take care of YOU and the body you live in. If you don’t, you won’t be able to do all those things anymore because your body will shut down. 🏃🏼‍♀️ .
