#Berlinmarathon. Proud and humbled by what went down. Clocking 2:21:58 and PBn’ by 3mins, I’m stoked.
Over the last 14 months, I've PB’d at every marathon; GC16, Fukuoka, GC17, and now Berlin. These results don’t come easy. I fight for every minute, I try to bury every doubt, and I’m learning to embrace the discomfort. Berlin was a true test - stuff happened out there which made it tough to hold pace. But that’s what the marathon is about.
Lots of love to the amazing support around me too. @elizabethkaye___ & @mattcingram - you both are incredible humans and your passion means so much to me. Thanks to @scienceinsport, @nike #NRCMEL and all the messages from friends & family. Having you guys in my cnr means the world.
Massive shout out to the Kiwi and Aussie Lads who formed a strong pack and pushed each other on. Was so much fun rolling through the streets of Berlin together.
