Sauvignon ‘Wild and Free’ Wenzel, 2015 ••• 12 generations of wine growing at this winery in Burgenland Austria. This sauvignon is a little different, with 3 weeks on skins and aged in 500l oak barrels, the wine is complex and richer in flavour and texture than most.
We also went to two frat parties and then afterwards went to a pizza shop that sounds like a frat or sorority and got a WENZEL! Apparently that is their signature dish. We got the vegetarian eggplant one and it was pretty good. Lucy also asked why they had pictures of ducks with weird feet and they said they didn’t know.
