I prepared my ultimate tea #blend. Well after my Ceylon black tea/earl grey blend maybe. 🤗 this one is a blend of white tea called white bud Yin Zhen and #jasmine flower buds that my lovely friend @ginger0923 brought for me from China. 🙏🏽 The white tea buds come from a tea bush #handpicked and rolled one by one manually hence looking like silver needles. The tea grows near mandarine and apricot trees hence giving it an aroma. I mixed them in a 1:1 ratio and let them brew for about 3 mins in 70C water that has been boilt in a glass kettle. I threw away my old plastic kettle yesterday and bought this one and the improvement in the taste and smell is incredible.
I typically #steep white tea up to 5-6 times (depending on the quality of the #tea) by gradually increasing the temperature and the time of brewing. This is the very first #brew and despite being the first, the taste is so good already. I don’t know if the jasmine buds will allow me to increase the temperature.
