So post holiday official weigh in this morning!
I'm not gonna lie, I completely pigged out on holiday 🙈 I went with all good intentions of not eating for the sake of eating, wanting to make good choices etc etc. That all went out the window before we even left the house!
Holidays are what I work hard for all year round. I didn't deep down want to go and be good food wise. I knew it'd make me miserable stressing over points. So I was off plan Wednesday evening last week after weigh in and then enjoyed myself on holiday.
I weighed myself yesterday morning (⏩) I'm going to be honest - it scared the crap out of me ! Which in some ways I'm pleased about because it hit home with me that I know my limits and then get myself back on plan - which will hopefully mean I'm never going back to my old ways and habits. Holidays are temporary!
So yesterday I got myself back on track, did a #nocount day and loved it. I ate well, enjoyed what I had, didn't feel deprived and this morning I officially weighed in ! (⏩) Yes I gained 1lb but 1lb is nothing for the week I've enjoyed with my boys 👪 now onto a new week of fresh points, fresh targets and a week to make good choices.
PLEASE DONT EVER BEAT YOURSELVES UP OVER TEMPORARY GAINS. THE HARDEST CHALLENGE IS GETTING BACK ON TRACK - CONCENTRATE ON THAT, NOT THE SCALES!
