Alright guys! Tomorrow it's back to business. I've got about 30 lbs I'd like to lose and get back to my pre-baby/pre-chaos shape πŸƒπŸ‹. I've eaten poorly the last few months because I've spent more time at the hospital than at home. But now that baby is home, I'm ready to feel like myself again! Starting out with a little meal prep. I like to make breakfast fresh (egg white omelettes and spinach) but im keeping lunch simple with ground turkey and veggies as my time is limited now a days to prep. Preparing some fruit salads for snacks and some grilled chicken and salad for dinner. What kind of "diet" do i follow? Paleo. Once I get closer to my target weight, I incorporate some grains. Gotta start again somewhere so here we go! I'll be posting a "before" picture tomorrow. πŸ’ͺ✊

😍 Bison burger inside a green collard wrap with duck bacon, pico de gallo and avocado.

It is totally possible to still eat healthy when eating out, and more times than not - you have the option to upgrade your nutrition!

Instead of a bun, I opted for a collard wrap.
When we start to shift our focus and start consuming higher quality foods and nutrients, we can conquer cravings and see optimal changes in our hormonal function and metabolism.
It's important to remember that leading a healthier lifestyle doesn't mean restricting yourself, leaving you feeling miserable and deprived.
It's about consistently making smarter choices and fuelling your body with things that are good for your mind, body and soul.

I've heard a lot that lemon and hot water is great for the body to drink first thing in the morning. Want to stop my coffee habit so this is the perfect alternative. Have a bowl of fruit and yoghurt too as a pre breakfast snack. I'm ready for a big loss this week and a cm off each body part at least with exercise. Let's do this!
