So I have the body type that puts on muscle fairly easy. And after not weighing myself for a month I knew I was getting leaner. It was pretty easy to see in pictures... but the scale said otherwise. And I can tell that I've definitely put on muscle. But it's super frustrating and messes with your head when you see the scale go up. Such a tricky mindset. The face you make when you spot a rare ab 👀👀 Summer cut is going well so far - can definitely see some fat loss and my upper body is beginning to feel more sculpted. I've been adding more cardio into my training which, although painfully boring and dull, does seem to be working! On another note, the gym was PACKED this afternoon! 😅the female changing room deceived me into thinking it was quiet (which meant I got some cheeky gym selfies with a lovely blue background a la @elliedeeksfit ) but when I got into the weights area the smell of testosterone was real 😩#weightliftingprobs
