From roughly 252 to now 239. I continue the road to 170 and I have the best trainer to help me get there which is Ricky Purdy, he has helped me get this far and now I’m not stopping for anyone or anything, I’m going full force, I will get to 170 and I will be fighting at that weight.
A lot of people have doubted me so far and I say that’s perfectly okay, because I continue to prove myself and my support right, screw the doubters and the haters, I’m making a living out of my life and I’m following my dreams. This whole time that I have been cutting weight has been hard and it will continue to get harder but I’m up for the challenge and it’s not going to stop me.
I’m very honored to have the support of my friends, training partners and my family, who have never doubted me for a second and who believe in me and Believe that I will be fighting at that weight, I really appreciate it guys, thank you so much!!!! WEIGHT CUTS SUMMARIZED

1) To the lowest level it can go without performance declines, get rid of all fat that need not be there!

2) With strategic protocols, preserve lean tissue which needs to be there!
3) Apply in-camp practices that allow for reduced levels of caloric restriction, heightened sweating capacity and effective water turnover.

4) Make Weight!

5) Put the water, electrolytes, and fuel exactly back where it all needs to be in the 32-36 hour pre fight window.

After trying pretty hard to be good at @thecelticmanor over the weekend, I weighed in yesterday at 66.7kg - not great when I need to be 63kg by Sunday morning for the Northerns! That’s 3.7kg to drop or over 8lb!

Luckily, eating particularly well yesterday and having a hot bath at night run by @mozza27 meant I woke up weighing in at 65.7kg... making it much more doable to drop the remaining 2.7kg by Sunday.

I’ve been prescribed my specific food for the week as usual by @triple_x_performance_centre - luckily, I popped over to @8020healthbar to pick up our meal prep (that I now can’t have) and they made me a plate of prescribed boringness which was properly tasty and pre-approved by @head_coach_trav before I tucked in!

No hot bath tonight, just a shitty training sessions and a messy brain to close down before bed. Fingers crossed more weight leaves my body overnight!! 🤞🏼🏋🏻‍♀️

1. Eat less than 20g net carbs (carbs minus fiber) a day
2. Don't eat fruit, sugar, or starches
3. Eat meals that contain alot of lean protein and fat
4. Don't eat salt
5. Eat 3-4x a day
6. Eat vegetables grown above ground
7. Stay hydrated
That is my weight loss strategy. It's not for everyone, you learn self control real fast and learn what works for you. It's a very grueling weight cutting process, but it works. There are often misconceptions about "weight cutting" and how athletes are able to drop so much weight in a short space of time. ☞ These rapid drops are via manipulating body water, carbohydrate stores and gut contents.

To make weight effectively, over many weeks and months the athlete can first lose some body fat through a slight caloric deficit (if needed). Then acute weight loss can happen in the final 7-10 days via typical "weight cutting" techniques. ✔ Understanding the difference between these is crucial.

For a weight class sport athlete, effective long-term planning for both is key. 🕔

For people who don't compete in such sports then you don't want to use acute weight loss techniques as they do ZERO for your body fat levels. They just temporarily change your scale weight.
