I was wanting 0.5lb off this week to take me to the lowest end of my target range before a very indulgent weekend and I've managed to lose 4 taking me to my lowest weight EVER!! I'm now 6lb under my target weight taking me to a total loss of 5 stone 2lb! YUMMY 😏 @slimmingworld fry up - all this for 1 syn πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ Beans (toot toot), @heckfooduk sausages (1), bacon medallions, scrambled egg made with Egg Lady eggs and a tiny bit of fat free cottage cheese (I thought I would try it as I normally use Philly but wanted to save syns and it was so good) and then for speed I added rocket, garlic mushrooms and roasted tomatoes. I can't even express how much that tiny bit of egg on my beans pot is annoying me. It's making me feel like I'm going to have an asthma attack. 😱133.8😱 Right when I thought I was in a weightloss plateau, I got myself out!! Although I'm on medications to help me, don't think they do all the work. This past week I completely changed up my workouts, switching from a primarily cardio based routine to weight lifting. Lifting weights has never been my fav, but I have to say it really does give you the results you want! Since I've started Phentermine, my heart rate increases too high when I do HIIT (high intensity interval training) cardio. It's probably a blessing in disguise because it forced me to get out of my comfort zone and change up my routine. This past week I lifted weights focusing on different areas of the body everyday (a split) and did some sort of yoga every night! I took a rest day on Wednesday because I was too sore to move. So I spent that day foam rolling and taking Epsom salt baths. It's so important to listen to your body y'all! If you're sore, your body is protecting you from pushing yourself too hard. So listen to it. At the end of my weight training sessions, I did about 20 minutes of LISS (low intensity steady state) cardio and finished it off with lots & lots of stretching!! When I think back on this week, I truly changed a lot. I started eating breakfast before my workouts. I use to focus on fasted cardio everyday, but eating breakfast really gave me the fuel I needed to set some PBs and get through my workout. I also increased my protein intake, which increased my overall calorie count. Although, I'm still keeping myself in a calorie deficit! I also drank Amino Energy BCAAs before every session to give me energy & keep my muscle in tact with the help of protein synthesis (I'll talk more about it in a future post). I'm currently doing my first full cardio & stretching session of the week walking on the treadmill at 3.8-4.0 mph on 5.0 incline, watching some Good Morning America (I typed this on Saturday btw☺️). If you're currently in a bit of a plateau don't be afraid to change up your workouts, eating patterns, and supplements!! It truly works😊 It's currently Monday, which means a fresh start and lots of motivationπŸ’ͺπŸ»βœ”οΈ
