This is a new IG account so I thought I’d fill you guys in a little bit about who I am 👉🏽I was always a big kid but the highest weight I ever hit was 370 pounds at 18 years old.
I was pre-diabetic and had high blood pressure among other health problems, and I was always tired, HUNGRY, and depressed; in short I felt like shit 😪
I had tried several times in the past to lose weight but nothing seemed to work for me until I asked my mother to get me a gym membership. Finally I started seeing noticeable progress 🙌🏽 but what really changed the course of my life was discovering a dieting protocol called Intermittent Fasting👀
IF was the first kind of diet I had ever tried that never left me ravenously hungry like I had been before. Following this and an exercise program enabled me to lose 170 pounds while building muscle at the same time👊🏽👊🏽 I went from 370-200 in less than a year. All of my health problems disappeared and I had constant energy 💥 I can truly say if it’s possible for me, it is for anyone. ———————
At a certain point my weight loss and progress stalled and I started gaining weight. I got so frustrated that I was gaining fat when I thought I was doing everything right! It turns out IF and counting calories alone only get you so far🤷🏽♂️ so I decided to study nutrition and that was the secret to progress👏🏽 ———————-
