Today I added color to this Chicago wedding map and I can’t wait to show you the completed piece! Coloring maps is one of my favorite parts of the process. It’s basically the equivalent of using a coloring book which they say can relieve stress, relax your mind, and create positive thoughts! So whenever you’re feeling a little stressed, I encourage you to pick up a marker or crayon or whatever you can find and give it a go! 🖍 #HappyTinesMaps
Including a little illustrated map into a wedding invitation suite is one of my favorite things to do. I love the idea of each guest getting a glimpse of the beautiful area that they will be traveling to, through the eyes of the bride & groom. (Photo: @ashleyslaterphotography )
A little map to help your guests along the way plus extra space to tell them where the ‘day after’ party is being held!!! An extra card amongst your invitations is fabulous for all those extra events happening. 🗺 🙌
We are 2 weeks in to January and it has been quite a busy month! From illustrating wedding maps to commissioned art prints to a set of 🐶 pet portrait note cards (I cannot wait to share these with you!), this month is flying by and my custom design spots are quickly filling up! Did you get engaged over the holidays? Are you looking for a fun way to incorporate your personality into your wedding design? Email me! I'd love to chat about your wedding stationery and how we can create paper pieces that your guests will rave about (because who doesn't want a fun illustrated map of their wedding weekend?)! #happytinesmaps . 📸: @jamiedblow
All information sheets can be adapted to include an illustrated map. Whether simple, like this one of Longworth Hall, or more elaborate with various illustrated landmarks, they are a really lovely way to add a personal and practical touch. ________________________________ This is a customised information sheet from the British Garden collection, available on the website.
