Feeling confident to step out to the We Change gallery launch on Thursday evening. So proud to be chosen to be a part of the incredible photo shoot that highlighted women in Jamaica who through their work, made some effort in improving the lives of their gender.
Today I stand with Life in Leggings and the Tambourine Army as they march in Kingston with the aim of raising the awareness of sexual, verbal, mental and physical abuse of women across the Caribbean.
To all the angry women who transitioned without the acknowledgement of your pain, I honor you. We know that your tears were not in vain. For the women who never thought that this day would be possible, remember we are the revolutionaries, nuff more work fe do. Be bold and loud. We hope that The lives of the women to come will be free of inequalities. #herlegacy #tambourinearmy #wechange
