This is probably one of the best things you can learn about life. Things do not get better for you unless you work on yourself and make yourself the best person you can be in that moment. I think our entire lives are meant to be working on that and bettering ourselves. I don't think we will ever be perfect but it's the whole process of working on ourselves to make sure that we're happy and creating the life that we want. No one else can do that for us. It's an internal thing that we have to do for ourselves. People can give you things and say all the things that you want to hear but unless you work on yourself none of that will be of any significance. You have to believe it yourself. So how do we do that? How do we make things better for ourselves? It isn't easy, and it doesn't happen overnight but over time you start to feel better and better. The only way I know how to make my life better if I need a change is to take action. If you hate your job start applying to anything that seems of interest or anything that's open to get out of the current situation. You'll figure out your next and right move career-wise then, but just make that change to get momentum going and to get you out of something you aren't happy doing. If you want to work on making your mind a more positive space then start reading and listening to all the positive motivational speakers and books that you can get your hands on. You don't have to spend money for them; ask friends to borrow theirs, and there are tons of free podcast and videos online that you can listen to. You can create a positive environment for yourself by putting things up in your home or office that make you feel good, too.
If you feel like you’re in a rut and unhappy for whatever reason, then you’ll need to take action to start making choices to do things you enjoy and make you happy. For example, follow the easy gratitude practice I have for free on my blog👇
