Only a few more days and we will be back in Uganda to visit the chimps of Kibale Forest.
We can’t wait to once again spend a day with them, from early morning when they rise from their nests high up in the trees to watch them feed, groom and play and taking life easy by basking in the sun or relaxing in the shade under a tree. The chimps, although wild, have been habituated for over 20 years, hence they are used to human presence. They don’t seem to care spending the day with their human cousins and just go on with their daily activities.
Kibale Forest is one of the only places in the world where you can come up close to wild chimps in their natural habitat and a very rewarding experience. #chooseyouranimal #wearyourcause
